We've been teaching keyword research since 2016
Quintralora started when a few people realized that most SEO courses glossed over the actual work of finding keywords. They talked about tools and metrics but didn't show you how to think through what real people search for. We wanted to fix that gap, so we built courses focused specifically on keyword research and how it fits into content strategy. Since then, we've worked with learners across South Africa who need practical skills they can use right away.
What we actually do
Our courses break down how to research keywords for different types of content. You learn to identify search intent, evaluate competition realistically, and prioritize terms that match what you're actually trying to rank for. We cover the boring parts too, like organizing keyword lists and tracking what works over time. The assignments involve real scenarios because generic exercises don't help much when you're facing an actual project with specific goals and limitations.
Most of our students are content creators, marketers, or small business owners who need to understand search without hiring an agency. They're looking for skills they can apply immediately, not theoretical frameworks. We focus on practical steps you can take with free or affordable tools, and we show you how to make decisions when the data is unclear or contradictory. That's where the real learning happens, not in following a perfect formula that only works in hypothetical situations.
Since we work with learners from different regions across South Africa, we've adapted our examples to reflect diverse markets and languages. Keyword research isn't the same everywhere. Search behavior changes based on local context, language preferences, and what people actually care about in their area. Our approach accounts for that instead of pretending one method works universally. We also keep courses updated as search engines change their algorithms and user behavior shifts over time.

Who runs this
We're a small team that values clarity and honesty over marketing language. Everyone here has worked in content strategy or SEO for years, and we all still do client work alongside teaching. That keeps us grounded in what actually matters when you're trying to rank content.
Pieter Van Rensburg
Lead Instructor
Pieter has been analyzing search data since before Google Keyword Planner existed. He's worked with e-commerce sites, publishers, and local businesses across South Africa, helping them figure out what people actually search for versus what they think people search for. His courses focus on developing research instincts that work when tools give you conflicting information.
Thabo Nkosi
Content Strategist
Thabo builds the course materials and makes sure assignments reflect real scenarios students will encounter. He's worked in content marketing for regional brands and understands how keyword research connects to actual content creation. His background in multilingual markets helps keep our examples relevant for learners working across different language contexts.
